You could say the want and yearning of sexual energy, the empty space between these two jellies, is the focus in this work. You would not be wrong. The shifting blue gulf between the brazen red and pink jellies is given an equal role in this large painting. However, realize that these jellyfish ARE having sex…they release sperm and eggs into the water to freely mix and mingle. Sex, is a big idea in nature, and happening everywhere, all the time. Enjoy.
